A nice alternative for the draft beer "outside the home" in the restaurant-to-times are the 2L jugs or 11L biscuit kegs that the Felsenkeller offers for pick-up, including an ice pack and tap. Real draft beer with carbonic acid tapped, no can beer in "5L" version. Exactly the right amount for small rounds around the campfire or your own household :-) The beer lasts 3 months after being bottled, so it can also be made with normal thirst. Unfortunately, there are always a few technical problems with the taps. After this happened for the third time this year and I called them, there was a "little guide to troubleshooting" over the phone. Unfortunately it didn't work. Driving to Lauenau again didn't fit in time, so the boss got into the car today and drove 30km to change the tap. Now everything works and there was even a small "present from the house" as an excuse. The beer (dark in this case) is extremely tasty anyway ... the longer the corners of the mouth are of course when none comes out of the barrel. Of course, it would be ideal if everything worked right away, but thanks for the great service! So the situation was saved. I'm looking forward to a cozy evening, we'll enjoy it and will definitely get more supplies when the opportunity arises! I can absolutely recommend it! Make sure that there is a cooling facility at home and, to be on the safe side, test the tap on site.

Typical brewery, small menu, but I think there is something for everyone. We had a game menu, very tasty, and of course the beer too. great beer garden in summer.

7 hour brewing course: time passed by in a flash. You have much better impressions of the brewing process. You also get a brewery tour and can thus better combine everything that has been carried out.

The brewery puts your light under a bushel! Honestly, the best pale ale I've ever drunk, and I get around a lot. You should try that. I don't find much advertised. Is that also available in the barrel?

The Rüpp brewery is beautifully situated on the slope. The restaurant doesn't make a very well-kept impression, the hosts and their staff seem to be the best guests, sit around in the dining room and smoke all the time. Therefore, the gastronomy is unfortunately not recommended.

On July 9th, 2020, I was planning a visit to the Felsenkeller in Lauenau to enjoy the world's best bock beer. My brother offered to be a driver and off we went. - Then a big disappointment. There was only the dark bock beer. The light maypole is no longer manufactured. Please let me know when the bright goat is back with you. Then I will definitely come again! I don't go that far for the dark goat! Greetings from Bavarian Swabia.

Corona restricted menu, which you can understand. Unfortunately, the offer is largely at the snack level. Finally we had asparagus with various side dishes, it was really delicious. The waitress always seemed a bit overwhelmed, although there wasn't really much going on, after all, only every second table was occupied.

Certainly everyone understands Corona-related restrictions - but then you should announce them on the website and explain them to the guests in a reasonably comprehensible manner. When, on Saturday afternoon, during the typical coffee time and the best weather, almost nothing can be ordered apart from savory things à la currywurst (no cake, no iced coffee, in some cases that is prominently advertised on a blackboard on the house, on the website anyway), this leaves you somewhat at a loss . Our stay was short. Too bad.

By far the best brewery far and wide! The dark is particularly good, which tastes just like the top-fermented beers in every brewery in Franconia! Then there is this excellent regional cuisine. Whether suckling pig, duck, asparagus in spring or kale in autumn; everything always well prepared and extremely tasty! Staff always in a good mood!
